St. John's man charged with drug trafficking

A St. John's man is facing a drug charge after police seized six kilograms of marijuana and some cash in central Newfoundland.

A St. John's man is facing a drug charge after police seized six kilograms of marijuana and some cash in central Newfoundland.

The 25-year-old was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The RCMP stopped a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway near Norris Arm North early Monday morning.

The accused man is due to appear in court in March.
