The Heart and Stroke Foundation released the video of Critch and Williams titled 'Mark and Danny have a heart-to-heart' on its YouTube channel Tuesday.
"Of course, you guys all know Danny, he's a former politician, currently an unemployed hockey enthusiast," said Critch, at Mile One Centre, which Williams's St. John's IceCaps call home.
February is heart month and is a time when efforts are underway to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
It was also six years ago this month that Williams went to the United States for heart surgery.
"I was diagnosed with a mitro valve relapse is what it's called — prolapse, sorry. So what they had to do was just go in basically and open me up and stitch it back up again," Williams said.
