How do the political leaders compare on Twitter?
Leading up to the provincial election, the leaders of Newfoundland and Labrador's three political parties used Twitter to help reach new audiences.
But how do the leaders compare, and how has each used social media? We used a comparison tool from the website visual.ly to check things out … and we got some interesting results.
We compared the Twitter feeds of Kathy Dunderdale, Lorraine Michael and Kevin Aylward, bearing in mind that Aylward has already announced his plans to resign and has been less active lately (all right, dormant).
Also note that the representation of the results is straight from visual.ly, including the cartoonish look of the politicians. We thought it would be interesting to see how our leaders stack up, and that you may like to have a look, too.
