Fire displaces family of 3 in Gambo

A family of three has been displaced after fire heavily damaged their home in Gambo.

The fire broke out Friday at the home on Freshwater Road.

Red Cross disaster volunteers met with the family Saturday to help with emergency purchases such as food and clothing, and to assist with blankets and other necessities.

Officials said the family has temporary accommodations.

There were no injuries reported, and it is not known at this time what caused the fire.
