Another dump fire in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
Thick smoke was seen coming from the landfill in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Sunday.
RCMP confirmed that the local fire department was attending the fire, and a spokesperson with the town said it is not being considered a "major" fire and was only some surface debris burning.
As of 3:30 p.m. the flames were only smoldering, according to the official, and crews anticipated it would be out by the end of the day.

Helicopters could be seen flying over the landfill, and a local witness said the smoke started rising around 2 p.m.
A section of the town's dump burned for several days in February before finally being extinguished.
