RCMP and search and rescue crews have located both vehicles stranded on the Burgeo Highway.
RCMP and search and rescue crews have located the two vehicles stranded on the Burgeo Highway.
A vehicle carrying three passengers — including at least one child — was located by RCMP on Monday night.
The vehicle had been stranded on the road since Sunday evening and crews had been unable to access the road due to poor visibility and blowing snow.
The RCMP and search and rescue crews used snowmobiles to reach the vehicle. All passengers have been accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
A second vehicle just further north, carrying three men, was located a short time later.
The men were returning from work in Alberta and had left Deer Lake Monday morning, bound for Burgeo.
