Residents on the French islands of St-Pierre-Miquelon are in mourning nearly a week after a man allegedly shot himself and another man in a domestic dispute.

The French Gendarmerie Nationale were called to a home on the island off the south coast of Newfoundland around 5:30 a.m Saturday.
Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of Cedric Yon, 31, and Joel Cox, 50, a well-known member of the community in the Cox's home.
It's believed Yon, who was previously in a relationship with Cox's daughter, shot Cox before turning the gun on himself.
Yon's mother is originally from Newfoundland.
