Carbon monoxide killed seniors, RCMP say
Two people who were found in a cabin on Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula died of carbon monoxide, according to the province's medical examiner.
The bodies of a man and a woman were found Monday afternoon on Western Bay Line in Conception Bay North after police were alerted by a local resident.
People in the community say the pair were in their seventies and from Carbonear.
The RCMP do not suspect foul play and said in a statement that no further information will be released including identities of the victims.
