Vacant Saint John house hit by 4th fire in 2 months

Saint John firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant house in the city's north end for the fourth time in the last two months.

Firefighters were also called to a fire at the Main Street house on Wednesday

A vacant Saint John building in the city’s north end was the target of another fire on Friday morning.

The house on 168 Main Street has been hit by fire four times in the last two months and the second this week.

The latest fire started at around 1 a.m. on Friday. It again appears the fire was set at the back of the building.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to that wall.

Saint John fire officials were called to another fire at the house on Wednesday night.

The investigation into both fires continues.
