Three men are in jail facing charges in connection with a violent home invasion about 40 kms south of Fredericton over the weekend.

Police say three men entered a house in Vespra, near Tracyville, at about 3 a.m. Sunday. They were armed with baseball bats and wearing masks.

Two men in their 20s were in the home at the time. One of them sustained serious head injuries while the other suffered minor injuries, according to RCMP Sgt. Joel Saule.

The three suspects left the home with electronic games and phones, he said.

Two Tracyville men, 20-year-old Daniel Burton and Cody Dusablon, 18, and 25-year-old Perry Palmer of Stanley are charged with robbery and wearing a mask to commit an offence.

All three appeared in Burton provincial court on Tuesday. They've been remanded in custody pending their next court appearance on March 26.
