Fire forces out tenants of 6-unit apartment

It remains unclear what caused a fire that forced residents to flee a six-unit apartment building in downtown Grand Falls, N.B.

It remains unclear what caused a fire that forced residents to flee a six-unit apartment building in downtown Grand Falls, N.B.

The fire broke out late Friday inside a three-storey building on Broadway Boulevard.

The building contains a business on the main floor.

Most of the tenants have found places to stay with family or friends.

But two others have received help from the Canadian Red Cross with emergency lodging and meals for the weekend.
