Saint John firefighters battle early morning structure fire

Firefighters with the Saint John Fire Department were called to a structure fire in Saint John this morning.

Saint John firefighters were called to a structure fire in the city's north end early on Tuesday morning.

The blaze started around 5 a.m. at 211 Somerset St. 

Platoon Chief Barry Oickle said the fire started in the basement, within the dryer area.

Oickle said no injuries were reported during the fire.
