Hosted by the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), Cox & Palmer and Deloitte, participants compete for over $1,000,000 in prizes – a combination of start-up equity capital and in-kind services that will support the launch of four innovative startups in New Brunswick.

A record number of entrepreneurs entered the competition this year. One hundred and forty participants attended the Breakthru bootcamp in December and had until Jan. 10 to submit business plans.

From 61 entries, seven teams have been selected to pitch live on stage at the Breakthru LIVE Awards Dinner on March 23, 2017 at the Fredericton Convention Centre. There are five provincial finalists and two national finalists.
