Tree of Hope Radiothon: $221,010 for cancer care in NB

CBC New Brunswick is proud to be part of the annual Tree of Hope campaign, raising funds to help improve the comfort and quality of care offered to cancer patients in the province.

The campaign, including the Radio-Canada telethon, raises $2,229,106.00 in one day

UPDATE: The Tree of Hope Radiothon Information Morning Open House raised $221,010. This contributed to the overall Radio-Canada telethon total of $2,229,106.

Tree of Hope Radiothon is Nov. 29

The Tree of Hope Radiothon open house in support of cancer research and treatment in New Brunswick takes place Friday, Nov. 29 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Join host Jonna Brewer along with reporter Vanessa Blanch at CBC Moncton (165 Main Street), along with special guests for a morning of inspiring stories of courage and hope. Chris Colepaugh is the musical guest and will have live performances throughout the broadcast.

You're also invited to take part in Radio-Canada's Tree of Hope Radiothon. It will air live from CCNB-Dieppe from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Each year, volunteers from across New Brunswick organize fundraising activities that are announced at the annual Tree of Hope Radiothon, presented by CBC Radio One and Radio-Canada. This event allows every community to rally together around a common cause and make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer.
