Quebec provincial police officers have uniforms — and they made a video set to music to show them off.

The Sûreté du Québec decided to keep its trademark olive green colours, despite media reports the force would switch to a navy blue.

The two-minute video, set to music, begins with a look at some of the earlier incarnations of the police force's uniform, with a caption reading "turning towards the future."

It ends with a shot of an officer in the new uniform, consisting of an olive green top, black vest and black pants.

The SQ's previous uniform included a tan-coloured shirt along with an olive green jacket and pants.
