One person has died after crashing their pickup truck on Highway 610 in Sherbrooke Thursday morning.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the driver of the truck lost control and collided into a rock near Saint-François shortly after 5 a.m.
The force of the impact caused the vehicle to catch fire, trapping the driver inside.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene.
The SQ is still investigating the details of the accident.
Highway 610 is closed going east around Saint-François Street.
