Quebecers prepare for 45-day walk in Antarctica
'We'll be the first humans to go there. The mountains, they don't even have names.'
A group of six Quebec explorers are preparing to explore an uncharted section of Antarctica — on foot.
Alexandre Byette and five of his friends are being put through a battery of tests and training exercises ahead of their February 2014 expedition to Antarctica.
The group plans to sail from South America to get there, where they'll explore parts of the continent never before seen by humans.
