Quebec motorcyclist caught going 170 km/h
A motorcycle rider in Saguenay was slapped with thousands of dollars in fines after he was clocked going 170 km/h in a 90 km/h zone.
Police stopped the man this week in Jonquière, in the Lac-St-Jean area of Quebec.
Officials said the motorcycle rider ran four stop signs and was driving without a licence.
He was fined almost $4,500, the bike was seized, and he was given 30 demerit points.
Officials said criminal charges might also be laid.
