Quebec daycares reach tentative deal with province

A group representing publicly funded daycares in Quebec says it has reached a tentative agreement with the province over how the centres will be funded.

Agreement came after a week of 'intense negotiations,' details not disclosed

A group representing publicly funded daycares in Quebec says it has reached a tentative agreement with the province over how the centres will be funded.

Le Conseil québécois des services de garde éducatifs à l'enfance (CQSGEE) says it came to terms with the province on Wednesday evening. 

Details of the agreement were not made public.

Francine Lessard, the group's vice-president, said the deal came after a week of "intense negotiations."
