Monday, April 20
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: French qualifiers
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Bilingual qualifiers
2:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: English qualifiers
Tuesday, April 21
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Awards show with top three competitors from each stream competing for $25,000.
About the competition
Almost 400 schools from across Canada participated in the online semifinals of Poetry In Voice, a national poetry recitation competition.
Thirty-nine top-scoring students have made it to the finals in Montreal. They will recite poems from memory in one of three catagories — English, French, bilingual — with the chance to win $25,000 in prizes.
