Power restored in most of Plateau-Mont-Royal after outage
Over 2,300 Hydro-Québec customers without electricity
Service has been restored to most of the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough after a power outage left 2,300 homes without electricity.
The outages began around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, according to Hydro-Québec's website.
"Service was interrupted at the request of the fire department of Montreal," said Hydro-Québec spokesman Jean-Philippe Rousseau
Most Hydro-Québec customers had service restored by 1:35 p.m. with remaining homes expected to have electricity by 2:30 p.m.
