Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is set to publicly announce he's joining the Parti Québécois leadership race.
The 39-year old lawyer and author will be the fifth candidate to run in hopes of replacing Pierre Karl Péladeau, who stepped down in early May.

Radio-Canada is reporting that Plamondon will make the announcement at Montreal's Place Émilie-Gamelin.
