Montreal school damaged by fire
An elementary school in Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district was damaged by fire Thursday.
The roof of École Saint-Nom-de-Jésus caught fire just before 4 a.m. ET.
About 30 firefighters were called to the school, which is at the corner of Desjardins Avenue and Adam Street.
Officials said the roof was undergoing renovations and that some of the building material was flammable.
No one was injured. Classes at the school were not cancelled.
