Montreal Metro's green line shut down during rush hour

Montreal Metro’s green line was down between Beaudry station and Honoré-Beaugrand for part of the morning rush hour, causing headaches for people trying to get to work.

Transit line used by thousands in morning commute partially shut down around 8 a.m.

Montreal Metro's green line was down for an hour between Beaudry station and Honoré-Beaugrand station this morning, causing headaches during the rush hour commute.

The green line runs from Angrignon to Honoré-Beaugrand and is used by thousands of people on their daily commute. The line went down around 8 a.m. Montreal's transit authority, the STM, did not explain why.

It provided buses for stranded passengers.

The line resumed service at around 9:10 a.m.
