Michel Duchaussoy arrested in connection with taxi driver's death
Longueuil police arrested Michel Duchaussoy in connection with the death of a Montreal taxi driver killed Wednesday.
Taxi driver was victim of Montreal's 28th homicide of the year
Michel Duchaussoy, the man wanted in connection with the death of a Montreal taxi driver killed yesterday, has been arrested.
Longueuil police arrested the 43-year-old suspect on Nobel Street in Boucherville, on Montreal's South Shore, Thursday evening.
Duchaussoy did not resist.
Police had been looking for him since Wednesday morning, when a 45-year-old taxi driver was found unconscious in his car in the Montreal neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges.
Montreal police say they got many helpful tips from the public.
They will give more details about the arrest during a news conference early Friday morning.
