Some Friday classes at McGill University will be disrupted because of flooding Thursday evening.

A city-owned pump at the pumping station on Dr. Penfield Ave. stopped working properly, causing water to pour into McTavish Street.

Several McGill buildings were flooded before the leak was plugged, about an hour after it started.

Wilson Hall is closed on Friday and classes will be moved.

McTavish Street is now open to pedestrians.
