Man charged for mother's murder on Akwesasne Mohawk territory

Police have charged 26-year-old Ryan John Lazore with the second degree murder of his mother, after her body was found on the Quebec side of the Akwesasne Mohawk territory.

Police have charged 26-year-old Ryan John Lazore with the second-degree murder of his mother, after her body was found on the Quebec side of the Akwesasne Mohawk territory.

Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service discovered the body of 46-year-old Lori Sue Lazore inside a home in Tsi Snaihne, Que. yesterday and say they have determined that foul play was involved.

Police aren't disclosing any details surrounding the woman's death.

Ryan John Lazore is currently being held in a New York State Holding Facility and is awaiting extradition to Canada.
