As the polls close and the votes are counted, CBC has reporters in key ridings across the province, including Montreal, the hotly contested Quebec City area and the Eastern Townships and Montreal.

Three of the federal parties are holding their election night gatherings in Montreal (Tom Mulcair and the NDP, Gilles Duceppe and the Bloc Québécois, and Justin Trudeau and the Liberals).

CBC will have the latest from behind the scenes at each of their campaign headquarters as results roll in.
