Quebec's new commission of inquiry into construction corruption is requesting the public's help.

The commission's chair, France Charbonneau, released a videotaped statement Tuesday. She is asking people with evidence of wrongdoing to come forward.

She said tipsters will remain anonymous.

Charbonneau said the inquiry will get underway in May, though it's unclear when it will start hearing witnesses.
