Registration now open for West Island Women's Forum
Event takes place on March 21 in Pointe-Claire
On Saturday, March 21, the West Island Women's Centre will host its first West Island Women's Forum.
CBC Montreal is proud to sponsor the event, which will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Pointe-Claire.
According to the centre's executive director, Sarah Ford, the forum offers a variety of sessions, content and resources for women in all stages of life.
"Whether you are an entrepreneur, in the middle of your career, taking care of loved ones, participating in the digital world or wanting to become more involved in your community, this Forum will deliver content covering a wide range of relevant and useful topics", she says.
All in a Weekend and Our Montreal host Sonali Karnick will be among the keynote speakers.
Anyone aged 16 and over is welcome to attend. The $25 registration fee includes lunch, keynote speakers and access to two sessions. There will also be a professional CBC photographer on site to take digital headshots for the personal and professional use of attendees.
The Forum will be presented in English and topics include entrepreneurship and business skills, digital awareness, support for caregivers and community services and engagement.
