CBC Montreal, along with the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, have made the difficult decision to not hold the CBC Christmas Sing-In this December.

Given the pandemic and public health guidelines, we will not be inviting Montrealers to gather together in large numbers and sing. Our priority is the safety and health of the audience, the choir and CBC employees.

"We know the Sing-In concert is a beloved tradition that many Montrealers look forward to attending," said Meredith Dellandrea, Senior Managing Director, CBC Quebec. "However this year, due to the COVID pandemic, we will need to sing along to the choir of St. Andrew and St. Paul from the safety of our own homes."

CBC will air an encore presentation of a CBC Sing-In concert as a national broadcast on CBC Radio One and CBC Music as part of our holiday program schedule to be announced in December.

The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul has also made changes to its fall season and will host choral and organ music online.

"While currently we aren't planning large in-person events, we are still offering the music you know and love", said Jonathan Oldengarm, Director of Music at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul. "This includes services each Sunday and a wide range of Christmas music throughout the month of December."

Dates and times for the Church's premiere streaming of events can be found on their website or Facebook page.
