Absolutely Canadian is a national weekly series showcasing documentaries and performance programs that tell unique stories from communities across Canada. Now in its 10th season, Absolutely Canadian premiered Oct. 31 on CBC Television and showcased two features back-to-back every Saturday until Nov. 14.

Episodes are now available free and on demand on CBC Gem.

Into the Light takes viewers behind the scenes to discover how the walls in Old Montreal are transformed with cinematic projections that reimagine Canadian history. Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, renowned former Cirque du Soleil and virtual reality directors, use the city as a canvas in Cité Mémoire, creating immersive projections that enthrall spectators on the street after dark.
