Charging electric cars in Shawinigan go up in flames

Four electric cars went up in flames in Shawinigan, Que., early Saturday morning.

Four electric cars went up in flames in Shawinigan, Que., early Saturday morning.

The cars, which were owned by the provincial government, were docked at charging stations along the Promenade du Saint-Maurice, in central Shawinigan. They were completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but investigators have been dispatched to the scene.
