CBC Quebec is back with our second annual Black Changemakers series. We are looking for current-day Changemakers from our Black communities who are helping to shape our future.

This project highlights Black individuals whose efforts to make a change are bringing about a meaningful impact and inspiring others across the province.

We invite you to nominate your colleagues, friends and family — anyone who is making a difference, big or small in your community.

Tell us about a person who deserves the spotlight. CBC Quebec is accepting nominations until Nov. 5 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel comprised of community advisors, CBC journalists and past Black Changemakers finalists.

Who we're looking for

Nominees can be artists, creators, health-care workers, educators, entrepreneurs, community organizers and everyone in between from cities across the province.

How to submit

  • Fill out the form below.

  • Include a paragraph about why you believe this person (or you, if you are self-nominating) should be included.

In the month of February, we will highlight and celebrate the finalists with coverage across all our platforms through radio and TV interviews, articles and more.
