Highway 10 eastbound closed at Brome Lake after truck fire

Quebec provincial police say the truck carrying diesel fuel caught fire after it blew a tire.

Highway 10 eastbound is closed near Lac Brome after a tanker truck caught fire early Thursday morning.

Provincial police say the truck carrying diesel fuel caught fire after it blew a tire.

No one was hurt.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and the diesel is now being transferred to another truck.

Police expect the highway to reopen around 8:00 AM.
