The boil-water advisory for residents in the borough of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve has been lifted, according to officials.

A boil-water advisory in parts of the Montreal borough of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve has been lifted, say borough officials.

The boil-water advisory was issued Friday afternoon after a water main break and was put in place as a preventative measure. It was lifted Sunday morning.

The borough confirmed the advisory was no longer in effect on its Facebook page.
