Hundreds take in Exchange District tunes at Winnipeg Jazz Festival

Festival draws big crowd for 3rd consecutive day

For the third day in a row, hundreds of Winnipeggers took advantage of the good weather and took in outdoor performances in the Exchange District as part of the 2016 Winnipeg Jazz Festival. (CBC)

Large crowds filled Old Market Square in the Exchange District as performers kept people entertained Saturday for the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.

The festival began Thursday and there have been large, sweaty crowds moving through the area each day since.

Saskatoon's Close Talker, and Winnipeg's own Micah Visser and Rayannah all played sets at The Cube Stage Saturday afternoon and evening.

The festival runs until June 26.
