RCMP consider alcohol a factor in the crash

A woman is dead following a collision on Long Plain First Nation, Man. on Saturday morning.

RCMP responded to the scene, which is about 90 kilometres west of Winnipeg, around 5:30 a.m.

There, they discovered the woman, whose name will not be released, had been struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to RCMP, alcohol is considered a factor in the collision, and the driver was not injured.
