Teen charged with arson in $1 million hospital fire
Winnipeg police have arrested a 16-year-old boy and charged him with several counts of arson in connection to a major fire that broke out at the city's Health Sciences Centre in the spring.
The fire, which started in a construction area just before midnight on March 5, caused an estimated $1 million in damage.
It also led to the evacuation of 92 patients from the Children's Hospital because of smoke.
No one was injured.
