One man in custody following Winnipeg drug bust

Winnipeg police have at least one man in custody following a drug bust on Thursday evening.

The Winnipeg Police Service's TAC team and several police units converged upon a home in the 600 block of Ross Avenue and another in the 600 block of Elgin Avenue.

Police confirmed to CBC News at least one man is in custody as a result of the drug bust, but they wouldn't say what types of drugs have been discovered in the two homes.

Officers were seen removing various items from the homes throughout the evening.
