Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash

A 50-year-old man is in hospital in critical condition after his motorcycle was struck by a car in Winnipeg.

It happened just after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Fermor Avenue.

The motorcycle, while stopped in traffic, was struck from behind by a car travelling northbound in the same lane, police said.

The motorcycle driver was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The incident is still under investigation.

No charges have been laid.
