Manitoba MPs Kevin Lamoureux, Terry Duguid named parliamentary secretaries

Two Liberal MPs from Manitoba have joined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "middle bench" as parliamentary secretaries.

Two Liberal MPs from Manitoba have joined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "middle bench" as parliamentary secretaries.

Winnipeg South MP Terry Duguid was named parliamentary secretary to the minister of family, children and social development on Wednesday.

Winnipeg North MP Kevin Lamoureux becomes the parliamentary secretary to the government leader in the House of Commons.

Two other Manitoba MPs were named cabinet ministers in November: MaryAnn Mihychuk (Kildonan-St.Paul) became minister of employment, workforce development and labour, and Jim Carr (Winnipeg South Centre) was named minister of natural resources.
