No new COVID-19 cases, 1 more person in intensive care

One more Manitoban with COVID-19 is in intensive care, the province announced Sunday afternoon.
Manitoba's daily news briefing on the disease caused by the new coronavirus was cancelled on Sunday. The province made the announcement in a news release instead.
There are now five people in intensive care being treated for COVID-19. There is also one more person hospitalized with the illness, bringing the total number of current hospitalizations to eight, the release said.
Three more people have now recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in Manitoba to 143.

There were no new cases of COVID-19 identified in Manitoba on Sunday, the release said. The total number of cases identified in the province is still 253, with 105 of those considered active.
There have been five deaths in Manitoba related to COVID-19.
The province's Cadham lab did 570 tests on Saturday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests processed in Manitoba to 19,752.
