The 73-year-old father of a Colorado man who kidnapped his son and fled to Brandon, will spend decades in prison for aiding in the crime.

Ronald Turner was convicted in April for helping his son, Monty, kidnap three-year-old Luke.

Monty Turner was arrested by Brandon Police in May 2013 at the Casa Blanca Motor Inn and Luke was returned to his mother.

It was the second time the boy had been snatched by his dad.

This week, a U.S. judge sentenced Ronald Turner to 27 years behind bars for helping to plan and orchestrate both kidnappings.
