Lady Gaga reads letter from Manitoba teen on Calgary stage
Tyler Carr wrote a letter to the performer about his friend who recently died of cancer
Manitoban Tyler Carr was surprised and moved to hear Lady Gaga read his letter to a packed audience in Calgary last weekend.
The Swan River teenager tossed a letter on stage that he'd written about his best friend Matt Peters, who died of cancer two months ago.
To Carr's disbelief, the pop star obliged and read the note aloud.
"That's when I kind of lost it, I was a wreck, and of course I was front, front row so the camera lady is right on me and I'm on the Jumbo Tron, so I still can't explain that."
Carr admits his friend Matt wasn't the biggest Gaga fan, but said they both loved her song "Hair."
