Andrew Ladd, the captain of the Winnipeg Jets, says hockey fans everywhere are excited about the return of the team to the NHL.

Ladd signed autographs and spoke to fans at a computer store in St. Boniface, Man., Friday.

"You know, I've been in Penticton, British Columbia, where they're having the prospect tournament and stuff. People are excited there to see the Jets," Ladd said. "So it's a lot of fun and I think guys are just excited to get started."
