Alex Burmistrov, Jets forward, fined $2,000 US by NHL for diving

Winnipeg Jets forward Alexander Burmistrov was fined $2,000 US by the NHL on Thursday for diving/embellishment. His second citation, which triggered the fine, was over a tripping penalty in the third period against Arizona on Jan. 26.

Winnipeg Jets forward Alexander Burmistrov was fined $2,000 US by the NHL on Thursday for diving/embellishment.

His second citation, which triggered the fine, was over a tripping penalty in the third period against Arizona on Jan. 26.

Burmistrov was issued a warning following an incident against Los Angeles on Oct. 27.
