Inuit art vault at the Winnipeg Art Gallery

Artist Nick Sikkuark from Kugaaruk, Nunavut, carved and polished this caribou antler into a worm-like form and etched the face of a shaman into the end. Much of his work was inspired by the supernatural abilities of Inuit shamans to transform into different beings.
