Gas station catches fire in southwest Winnipeg

A fire damaged a gas station just under construction in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

A fire damaged a gas station just under construction in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

It started at about 4 a.m. at the Co-op site near Kenaston Boulevard and North Town Road in the city's southwest corner.

The fire was quickly extinguished but there is no word yet on what caused it.
