Future 40 finalists celebrated their achievements at reception and networking event on Thursday night

Future 40 finalists show their love.

Winnipeg's next change-makers and innovators got together at CBC's Future 40 reception on Thursday evening to celebrate and network.

The reception honoured a generation of Winnipeg's young leaders, who are driving forces in fields like the arts, science, business and community activism.

The awards and treats were ready.

The reception was packed, with CBC Information Radio's Marcy Markusa hosting the party.

The finalists got to spend time together and talk about what it means to be a Future 40 finalist.

For the winners, it was a celebration of their achievements and the communities they've created.

Best of luck to all these finalists!
